That being said, there is nothing wrong with
critique, or religion...but you do have the right to decide for yourself. based on your own reasons.

And to further clarify, this is not a jab at religion, I grew up in a very religious home, and have seen both the good and the bad side of it, the over all point is that its all about Method not the Practice.

Let le' shit-storm being!

If the people who are being all serious about this.. shouldn't be critiques if they don't understand a joke.
Agreed anyways. Critiques could be a hell of a lot more polite, some I read were truly appalling. Not all. Some.
I get that they want to get their point across, but jeez.. manners much?

I hate it when people throw hissy-fits about the style you do something in. Once I had a fanfition series that was written with a set appearance to avoid all of the ___(h/c)___, ____(e/c)_____,_____(s/c)____ abbreviations, and I got this really stupid self-absorbed complaint. I didn't ask for critiques, keep it to yourself.

By posting your work on any website or forum that allows comments, expect critique. It's the default. On FF it's even called a "review", not "praise only". If someone doesn't like something about your work they have every right to voice that opinion since these places are open forums. Criticism happens. It isn't a big deal unless you have tissue paper thin skin and an ego that bruises as easily as a banana.

Basically if you only want praise, specify that so anyone who might be trying to give constructive feedback to help you grow as an artist/writer won't waste their time on you.

some people don't like set appearances for them but i agree they should keep their complaints to themselve because it hurts/annoys the writer

The worst part is when they post nasty comments on your profile and you like :icongermanywtfplz: So you hide the comment but then it looks suspicious like you have something to hide...:iconbeardstrokeplz:

*giggling hysterically and choking on tea* this is true, in many things besides art (liek stories for example). Keep making awesome stuff.

Also, the bottom panel is voiced by that steryotipical loud preacher...at least it is in my head anyways
